Laurie Randolph, U.S. American classical guitarist and composer, lives in Germany since 1980 where she leads an
active musical life as performer, recording artist, teacher, and director of a music theatre for children.
She taught at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste for 19 years and was for 9 years assistant to Maestro
Abel Carlevaro in his masterclasses in Erlbach, southern Germany.
Her musical background includes studies in historical music as well as ethnic music:
She has broadened her musical horizons with Spanish, South-American, and Arabian folklore and has studied
Early Music.
She also plays and teaches Viola da Gamba.
